Australia Zoo Welcomes Lil' Koala Joey With Adorable Name

Queensland’s Australia Zoo has a new adorable addition to the fam with Macadamia, the koala joey.

The koala pupper is the first of the season and will lie in his mother’s comfy, fluffy embrace for 12 months before becoming independent.

When Macadamia was first born, he weighed a wee half a gram and was about the size of a kidney bean.

His life will consist of about 20 hours of sleep a day and just four hours of consciousness, mostly sedentary, which is a ratio to aspire to.
