Aussie Joe Davidson Chats With Us About His New Film “Anyone But You”

We sat down to talk primary school plays to starring on the big screen with Sydney Sweeney.

If you’re a rom-com fan, you won’t want to miss the upcoming film Anyone But You, coming out this Boxing Day.

Directed by Will Gluck (Easy A), Anyone But You stars Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney and Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell as Bea and Ben – a pair with bad history who are forced to pretend to be the perfect couple to keep the peace at a destination wedding in Australia.

The film was shot in Sydney, and features a huge cast including Darren Barnet (Never Have I Ever), Alexandra Shipp (Barbie), and rom-com legend Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding).

We got to chat with one of the Aussie stars from the film, Joe Davidson, known best for his role as Cassius Grady on Neighbours.

His character Beau stands in the way of Ben getting back together with his ex-girlfriend, and he becomes quite the scene-stealer throughout the movie.

We spoke to Joe about his role in the film, how he found his love of acting, and what it was like working with such a stellar cast right here in Australia.
