Idris Elba May Not Be Our Next Bond, But At Least He's In Macklemore's New Music Video

Before he was the entire internet’s object of affection, Idris Elba was a budding singer, rapper and DJ.

That he did such disk-jockeying under the name DJ Big Driis only made us love him more.

He’s been a little too busy lately winning Golden Globes, playing Nelson Mandela and trying to convince the world that he’d be a better James Bond than Tom Hiddleston to continue his musical exploits.

But that didn’t stop Macklemore and Ryan Lewis for recruiting Elba for new single “Dance Off”, off their album This Unruly Mess I’ve Made.

The newly-released music video features a series of dance battles at a wedding, a gym and a café, but really, all we're interested in is Elba's fur-coated cameo, in which he explains the rules for these very dances-off.
