"Assassin's Creed" Introduces Killer Chickens in "Odyssey"

If you thought chickens in Assassin's Creed were friendly, think again.

The eleventh instalment in the Assassin's Creed series, Odyssey, was released last week and while there are some interesting new features, one thing, in particular, is spurring up a bit of talk.

It's, of course, the chickens, because apparently, they don't chicken out when you aggravate them.

The cruel prank was discovered after numerous Redditors confided in each other after being ambushed, and in some cases murdered, by a rooster or two hell-bent on revenge,

The fierce chickens are allegedly a homage to the Zelda series, which featured relatively docile chickens, Cucco, who would gang up and aggressively peck your character to death if provoked.

So, when you're exploring the isles of Ancient Mediterranea, watch out for these truly agile assassins.
