Is Uni the Best Days Of Your Life?

And what does life look like after?
We've kicked off the first episode of Ask Student Edge, where we're answering real questions from real Student Edge members, about student life and life in general.
Ever wondered what life looks like after uni? Or worse, if the best years of your life have passed you by after you’ve walked across the stage and accepted your degree?
We promise it’s not all doom and gloom, there ARE things to look forward to after uni.
Bianca and Emma chat about what school and uni looked like for them, the concept of the ‘best days of your life’ and toga parties too (IYKYK 👀)
Everyone says uni years are the best years of your life, so what does life look like after?
Emma: I don't think I want to subscribe to this way of thinking. I’ve had people say “my school years were the best years of my life.”
Bianca: How many times did you hear that?
Emma: I heard that a lot. And I’m telling you now it wasn’t.
Bianca: For you?
Emma: Well yeah I liked school but I just think about time off school and I’ve had, no offense to school, but I’ve had way more fun experiences post-school than I did in school. And it’s not for any reason…it's just was how my life is.
And I hate that whole mentality of 'the best years of your life' because then okay, the best years of my life are done what’s left?
Bianca: And that makes the whole future seem daunting. It's like, okay, if you knew that was the best days of your life, you're probably thinking it's all downhill from here. And it's not.
I think we need to also mention, everyone's experiences are different too. And, you know, [someone's] favourite parts of their life is not going to be the same as someone else's favourite part of their life.
