Anthony Davis’ Buzzer Beater Just Broke the Nuggets' Heart Like They Were Ralph Wiggum

Why'd he have to go and do them like that?

The LA Lakers just triumphed over the Denver Nuggets in a nailbiting Game Two of the NBA Western Conference Finals, solidifying the Lakers' 2-0 lead over the underdogs.

However, after a convincing victory in Game One, the Lakers almost lost it to Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray’s never-say-die Nuggets, and were down by a point with just 2.1 seconds left on the clock.

However, the Lakers have Anthony Davis on their team (not to mention LeBron James but he doesn’t factor into this specific highlight today), who buried a clutch three-pointer to seal their fate.

Watch it below and then revel in the shock, surprise and joy of NBA Twitter (and Chrissy Teigen) who saw it unfold live.

But Denver fans, and especially the poor soul manning the official Nuggets account, were left hurting.

That's okay, we did it for you with the header image up top.

Anyway, this has been your daily reminder that basketball is very good.
