Another Aussie Joins Eurovision Grand Final Increasing Our Chances to at Least Seven Per Cent

Anja Nissen, a certified The Voice Australia winner, has made it to the Eurovision Grand Final, making her the second Australian to enter the European contest.

She made it into the Grand Final after performing her song “Where I Am” in the second semi-final, where another nine finalists were added to the Grand Final line-up.

While she is representing Denmark, her parents’ home country, she joins Australian contestant Isaiah Firebrace in the final showdown on Sunday.

The two will have to compete against 24 other contestants on Sunday. The contestants who make up the Grand Final include 20 winners from each semi-final as well as five contestants from the “Big Five”—Italy, France, Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom—who always have a place (apparently, that’s a thing) and, finallly, the host country; Ukraine.
