Australia Has a Shot at Winning Eurovision After Isaiah Firebrace Squeezes Into Top 10

NSW local Isaiah Firebrace has given Australia a pretty decent chance at taking out the Eurovision title.
Firebrace joins 24 other contestants in the final, making it Australia’s third time to the finals out of three appearances. Three outta three ain’t so bad. *SWISH*.

He sang "Don't Come Easy", but after a few performance blunders (see 2:20), it looked like Australia's hopes had well-and-truly died.
But then a miracle happened and Isaiah was announced as the eighth contestant to make it into the finals.
While Australia is, geographically, at least a 24-hour flight to the European continent, the Europeans have let us sneak into the competition since 2015, making us the second non-Eurasian country in history to be allowed to enter.
In 2015, Guy Sebastian entered the competition and finished in fifth place. Last year, Dami Im just missed out with second place. If you're seeing the pattern I'm seeing then it's obviously logical that Isaiah will take out the top position this year. Right?
You can watch the final on SBS this Sunday at 5am AEST if you're keen enough.
