All the One Directioners Have Solo ARIA Top 50 Singles Right Now (Except Louis Tomlinson)

Someone’s gotta be the Joey Fatone.
When we reviewed Harry Styles’ underwhelming solo album the other week, we declared Zayn Malik the undisputed winner of the 1D Solo Wars.
But that doesn’t necessarily make Harry the loser. Rather, it looks as if poor Louis Tomlinson is now bringing up the rear.
As of this week, Zayn and his former bandmates Harry, Niall Horan and Liam Payne all have songs in ARIA’s Top 50 Streaming Singles chart. Harry’s “Sign of the Times” is the highest, at #10, followed by Niall’s “Slow Hands” at #15 and Liam’s new Quavo-assisted single “Strip That Down” debuting at #25.
Zayn’s “Still Got Time” just squeezed in at #46, behind Harry’s second single, “Sweet Creature”, at #40.
Harry, Niall and Liam fared even better in the overall Top 50 Singles chart, with “Sign of the Times” holding steady at #5 and “Slow Hands” and “Strip That Down” close behind at #11 and #12, respectively. (“Still Got Time” has exited this particular chart, unfortunately.)
Alas, poor Louis is nowhere to be seen. In fairness, he had a Top 20 single late last year, with his Steve Aoki collaboration “Just Hold On”. He’s also been busy with his one-year-old son Freddie, no doubt.
But then again, news about Tomlinson hasn’t been glowing of late. He was arrested for alleged battery of a photographer in March, and people refuse to forget the incident in which he yakked in front of 60,000 football fans.
A recent tweet, however, indicates he’s ready to have his next crack at the charts:
The battle continues.
