Adele Met the Grenfell Firefighters for a "Cup of Tea and a Cuddle"

Future U.K. Prime Minister Adele, one-upping actual British PM Theresa May, has visited the firefighters who tackled the tragic Grenfell Tower blaze.
Rob Petty of the Chelsea Fire Station posted a few snaps from Adele’s visit to Facebook. She apparently joined them for “a cup of tea and a cuddle.”
Last week, Adele privately visited the Grenfell Tower less than 24 hours after a fire ravaged the 24-storey apartment block.
The Grammy-winning singer was seen “going around and hugging everyone she could to comfort them”.
PM May received criticism for refusing to meet any family members of the fire victims, just one week after her election victory.
Metropolitan Police have revealed the Grenfell death toll has risen to 79 people, though officials say the number may still increase as the search and recovery continues within what’s left of the building.
The Grenfell apartment block contained 120 apartments and could formerly house up to 600 people.
British ministers have since said the tower’s particular exterior cladding—used to provide thermal insulation as well as fire resistance—might have been banned under U.K. building regulations.
Inspections are now being conducted on approximately 2,500 similar blocks across Britain.
A Senate committee will similarly look into the use of cladding in Australian buildings.
