Giddy Up 'Cos Adam Driver Just Turned Into a Centaur for a Burberry Perfume Ad

The centaur of attention.

Some days, the internet is just boring and stale with nothing but news. Other times—like today—it serves us up a gift from the web gods like Adam Driver becoming a centaur for a perfume advert.

Yes, this really happened.

The ad is promoting Burberry’s new cologne Burberry Hero—which Driver is the face of—and the internet has absolutely lost it with the creative direction that they took to promote the new fragrance.

What starts out as a running race on the beach between a shirtless Driver and a horse then takes a more unusual turn as the two stunning creatures start swimming together.

We just need them to ride a bike and we’ve got a triathlon going (sorry, it’s the Olympics atm and that’s all I can think about).

After their romantic frolic in the waves, some sort of M. Night Shyamalan cinematic voodoo happens that turns the Star Wars actor into a centaur.

Side note: don’t try and solve how he turned into a centaur. I’ve already tried. As far as I can tell, either the water is magic and it splices whatever enters it together, or there is a scene missing that will explain the lore behind this mystery. I guess we’ll have to wait for the director’s cut.

Thankfully, it’s not just me who is enamoured by Adam Centaur. The internet too has erupted into a frenzy of stanness (is that a word?) for the actor’s transformation and frankly, I don’t blame them.

Here’s our favourite reactions:

Look, if Burberry is promoting that their new cologne can turn you into a centaur, I’m defs not opposed. I’ve been yearning to run through fields and be turned into glue for years.
