In case you slept through it (Western Australia did lol) Facebook got stuck in the mud this morning after its entire network including Instagram, Whatsapp, and Messenger crashed.

While it’s not yet 100 per cent confirmed why this happened, rumours are that the platform shut down due to a whistleblower spilling some seriously hot tea about Facebook on the US version of 60 Minutes.

The outage lasted a whopping six hours and is the worst outage the social platform has seen since an incident all the way back in 2019.

In that time, the internet collectively lost its mind, flocking to Twitter and TikTok to share their grievances. So, to continue the lols about the whole ordeal, here are our favourite memes from the outage.
