A "Stranger Things" Game Has Been Released and It's a Retro Lover's Dream

It's been a long 13 months since the first season came out but Netflix has offered us a lil' something to make the final stretch a bit easier.

The second season of Stranger Things is coming out at the end of this month and as if the hype wasn't already intense enough, Netflix has released a full retro mobile game of the show to turn it up even more.

The Super Nintendo-inspired top-down adventure game (it's like an old Pokémon game if you're not that old) follows Hawkins' police chief, Hopper, as he tries to solve the disappearance of the four boys. The game basically follows a similar story to the show, with a few little character and scenery changes.

It also works with a touch screen too (Hopper follows your finger), so it's a whole lot easier than trying to navigate with clunky directional arrows.

Well played Netflix; good game. This will definitely occupy us for the next three weeks.

You can download the game on the Apple store or Google Play store now. The new season of Stranger Things will be on Netflix from Friday, October 27.
