A Snippet of Lady Gaga’s Alleged New Single Has Leaked and Fans Are Going Wild

The track is rumoured to be released in February.

For nearly two years, Lady Gaga has been withholding information about her upcoming album. In August 2017, the singer told Entertainment Weekly that she was back in the studio writing, but since then, we haven’t received any major news about LG6.

Instead of giving us any real insight into the album, Gaga has frequently opted to post cryptic tweets to troll us all. In the past year, she’s shocked people by announcing her next album would be called "ADELE", and admitted she couldn’t remember the last time she bathed.

She ain't afraid of oversharing.

So, it’s only natural that Little Monsters went into full-scale meltdown mode when a 35-second snippet from a song allegedly called "Stupid Love" was leaked to Twitter over the weekend.

Despite the low-quality audio, Gaga’s soaring vocals could still be heard, and the song sounded like it could have belonged on Born This Way.

If you didn’t manage to listen to the leak, you’ll have a hard time finding it now. Much to her fans' dismay, Gaga’s team has been ruthless in removing all traces of "Stupid Love" from the internet.

Now, there is a rumour going around that the leaked bop is actually the lead single for LG6, and will be released next month on 7 February. Additionally, there are also claims that "Stupid Love" was actually intended for Born This Way, and has been re-recorded for LG6.

Who even knows what's real anymore?

Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet, so we'll just have to keep waiting.

So, here are some tweets by Gaga fans to keep you entertained until we receive official confirmation.

Update (22/01): Well, now the whole song has leaked! Read more here.
