Yubo Launches ‘Express Sessions’ With LGBTIQA+ Influencer AJ Clementine For National Mental Health Day

Let’s have a chat.
2021 has been a tough year for everyone. With mental health being a big topic on everyone’s minds lately, it’s only fitting to have another chat about staying mentally fit during October—National Mental Health Month.
This Friday is National Mental Health Day, and to help give Gen Z a bit of a healthy brain boost, socialising and youth live streaming app Yubo have launched new ‘Express Sessions’.
Each Express Session event will be hosted locally by a mental health campaigner, and this Friday 15 October from 6 pm to 7:30 pm AEDT, social media influencer and LGBTIQA+ advocate AJ Clementine will be hosting the first session.
Sharing her advice on how she deals with anxiety, as well as answer questions from the audience, AJ aims to have a meaningful conversation with the Yubo community and make a difference to Gen Z.
If you’re a little hazy about who AJ is, she’s one of Australia’s most influential transgender social media stars.
Her content details her experience, struggles and how to stand up against transphobia or hateful comments. In particular, her YouTube channel follows her along a lot of her transitional journey, even throughout surgeries.
Her advocacy efforts have helped her become one of the largest transgender voices in Australia. She has now worked with Sportsgirl on their ‘Be That Girl’ campaign and modelled for BONDS underwear.
If you wanna continue to follow AJ after the live stream this Friday, you can find all her awesome content on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.

Express Sessions will aim to give users a safe space to talk, view and seek peer support from the wider community on everyday life issues.
Yubo will run a new session each month globally to support their youth audience and allow them to get the assistance they may need.
Unlike many other social media platforms, Yubo doesn’t run on likes, followers or trends. It encourages young people to meet one another and build strong connections online through live streams.
Hosting live streams with mental health and body positivity advocates is nothing new for the live streaming app, but their new Express Sessions will see the inclusion of medication coaches, relaxation/bedtime sessions and other activities to support the mental wellbeing of their users.
Check out Yubo’s first Express Session on their app this Friday 15 October from 6 pm to 7:30 pm AEDT.
