You're Not Imagining It: Optus Customers Are Experiencing Outages

It's not you, it's Optus.
Like Telstra before them, Optus' network, too, is disrupted, leaving customers around the country with limited or no service on 4G.
A spokesperson confirmed that there was a fault impacting some services and they were working to fix the issue.
According to Aussie Outages, 534 users reported issues at around 11 am AEST across the country with calls and messages not connecting and internet speeds being slow or non-existent.

Optus later stated that their service has "just about returned to normal" and will send an update once it's completely resolved.
In the meantime, they have suggested that customers switch to 3G, which allegedly has regular service.
