Your Fave Walmart Yodelling Boy Just Made it to "The Ellen Show"

Who wants to take up yodelling classes now?

The tale of the small Walmart yodeller is one for the ages. In its short existence (let's say, two weeks, tops), it has inspired numerous remixes, countless covers and an infinite supply of memes.

It all happened when one 10-year-old, Mason Ramsey, dressed in the most stereotypical country garb you can find and performed a 1949 yodelling classic, "Lovesick Blues" by Hank Williams, to a bunch of seemingly uninterested Walmart shoppers.

One of the original tweets went on to receive more than 50,000 retweets and just under 200,000 likes.

But unlike other memes that fizzle out, this viral performance has had a relatively happy ending.

And with that, Ramsey generated a fandom of people from all walks of life.
