Xbox Is Giving Away Greaseproof Controllers, ‘Cos It Knows How You Play

Grease and controllers have gone hand-in-hand ever since the first console arrived in someone’s home, and that someone realised how much more fun it is to play while scoffing chicken-flavoured Samboys.

But it’s hard to feel good about yourself as the gaming sessions stretch on and your controller gets more and more slippery.

Thankfully, Xbox has—finally, after literal decades—found a solution: a greaseproof controller.

Inspired by PUBG’s "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" catchphrase, Xbox is giving away 200 limited edition greaseproof controllers that will allow you to literally slather your device in oil and still play smoothly (we assume).

But here’s the bad news: they’re not for sale, and only 10 of the 200 are being given away across Australia and New Zealand.
