Wrong Direction: Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks Thought Harry Styles Was From NSYNC

Justin Timberlake and Harry Styles are not so different in the eyes of rock goddess, Stevie Nicks.

Over the weekend, Stevie Nicks, the lead singer of Fleetwood Mac, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the second time.

To award the 70-year-old legend with this historical achievement, your first crush and former One Directioner, Harry Styles, took the stage.

Backstage, Nicks told reporters how she loved Styles and considers him "the son [she] never had."

It was all fine and dandy until Nicks praised Styles for his decision to leave NSYNC; a '90s boy band that split when Styles would've been eight years old.

Given Nicks' living legend status, most were on board with re-writing history. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

if stevie nicks says harry styles is from nsync then he is from nsync. we're gonna adjust for her

I was blessed to shake this woman's hand 30 years ago. If Stevie thinks he's Paul McCartney's lost kid, then that's the way it is.

But we're a little curious: If Harry Styles is the JT of NYSNC, who's the Joey Fatone?
