Jokes from the SE Team to Make You Chuckle on World Laughter Day

Turns out havin' a giggle is good for you.
Keep your favourite jokes up your sleeve this weekend fam, because Sunday 1 May is World Laughter Day.
Since 1998, we've been dedicating the first Sunday in May to enjoying a chuckle, or even keeling over in hysterics, thanks to Doctor Madan Kataria—founder of the worldwide Laughter Yoga movement.
Having started in India, the day is now celebrated globally, with many people joining together for public events where they just... laugh?
That's because laughter really is the best medicine. It relaxes the body, releases endorphins and positively manifests friendship and happiness.
There’s a lot of science behind that, obviously, and if you wanna get nerdy, you can read about it here.
As for us, we just wanna make you laugh! So, we took to the Student Edge office to get our team’s best jokes.
We aren’t saying they’re all good, but hopefully at least one of them is worth a smile.

Teri
What do you call a fake noodle? An impasta!
Let's kick it off with my fave of the team's shall we? Short, simple, effective. Love it.

Jayden
Never criticise someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, they won't be able to hear you from that far away. Plus, you'll have their shoes.
Never the under-achiever, Jayden also gave us this cracker dad joke (plus about six others but this one was the only relatively good one).
I ate a clock yesterday, it was very time-consuming.

Henri
Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson decide to go on a camping trip. After dinner and a bottle of wine, they lay down for the night, and go to sleep. Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudged his faithful friend.
"Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see."
Watson replied, "I see millions of stars."
"What does that tell you?"
Watson pondered for a minute.
"Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What does it tell you, Holmes?"
Holmes was silent for a minute, then spoke: "Watson, you idiot. Someone has stolen our tent!"
Henri is a dark and dry humour kinda guy, so I wasn't expecting this one from him. 'Tis also too long for me to remember, sorry Henri.

Terence
I used to have a personal trainer. Then I gave my too weak notice!
Terence then followed this up with a lot of laugh/cry emojis, because he sincerely cracked himself up with this one.

Simmy
What kind of apple grows on a tree? All of them.
I still don’t know if it’s funny, but it’s clever and I kinda like it.

Bianca
What's so good about aircon jokes? I am not a fan.
Bianca isn't a dad, but evidently she sure does love a good dad joke.

Kevin
My email password got hacked again. This is the third time I have had to rename my dog.
What a classic from the Student Edge IT guru.

Kaylee
If a priest blesses an avocado, does that make it a holy guacamole?
Okay, I just had to throw my personal go-to in there.

That's all, folks.
If you've got a ripper joke for us, send us a DM on socials! And don't forget to celebrate World Laughter Day with a good giggle on Sunday 1 May.
