Wondering How to Watch the New Season of “Westworld” In Australia?

Remember Westworld, that show we were all a bit obsessed with back in 2016?

Well, it’s returning soon-ish, and the team at HBO shelled out the big bucks for a high-profile Super Bowl ad to remind us about it, considering the last episode aired (checks watch) 431 days ago!

Details about the second series have been kept tightly under wraps, but the trailer at least indicated there would be samurai this time around, and a piano cover of Kanye’s "Runaway".

But now, we finally have a date for its official return: Monday 23 April.

So, how are we non-HBO-having Aussies expected to watch it without being spoiled by those pesky Americans on our Facebook and Twitter feeds? A show shrouded in secrecy shouldn’t be ruined by an unexpected Instagram post from some celeb with a vague understanding of the international time zones.

Well, Foxtel will premiere each new episode express from the U.S. at 9am AWST on the showcase channel. If you’re at school or working (because, you know, eps are airing on Mondays), you only need to avoid the internet until 6.30pm AWST, when the episode will get its "primetime encore".

You’ll also be able to stream the latest episode from Foxtel’s streaming service, Foxtel Now, or watch it through their on demand library.

According to the press release, the show still stars Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris and Anthony Hopkins (though we have questions about that last actor… better saved for the spoilers discussion).

Remember: This world is a lie!
