Fully Vaxxed Aussies Can Now Enter a Draw for $1 Million

That’s what we’re talking about.
In an effort to drive up the national vaccination rate, Australians who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 now have the opportunity to enter into a draw for $1 Million.
The Million Dollar Vax campaign—created by generous philanthropists and corporations wanting to reach 80 per cent vaxxed ASAP—will give away $4.1 million worth of prizes, which includes a massive $1 million cash prize and 3,100 ultimate eGift cards valued at $1,000 each.

Each day throughout October, 100 gift cards will be given out to lucky Aussies, with the top prize of $1 million being drawn on 5 November.
If that isn’t a good enough reason to get jabbed (aside from protecting your loved ones and the community) then I don’t know what is.
One of the members of the Million Dollar Vax Alliance, Craig Winkler, said the competition was all about helping the country return to normal.

“The promotion simply seeks to reward people who decide to be vaccination now rather than waiting, so that we can reduce the community impact of the COVID-10 pandemic,” Winkler said.
“The faster we reach higher vaccination rates nationally, higher than 80 per cent, the sooner we all can safely resume our full range of community and business activity.”
How do I enter?
To have a crack at winning any prize, you first need to have received at least one COVID jab by the end of October and be fully vaccinated by 13 December.
Once you’ve had your first jab, all you need to do is enter online at the Million Dollar Vax website.
Are there other comps I can enter for being vaccinated?
Absolutely! Qantas last month announced they would be giving away a whole year’s worth of flights, accommodation and fuel which is basically a paid holiday for a year. Virgin Australia is offering a similar prize package which includes 50 return economy flights (that’s insane!).
To get vaxxed, check out the government’s resources on COVID-19 vaccines, chat with your GP, and book an appointment at your local vaccination clinic.
If you’re not sure about your eligibility just yet, you can find out and book in at a clinic here.
