Will Smith Is Re-Freshed And Ready For A World Tour With DJ Jazzy Jeff

The Fresh Prince rides again!

Will Smith has told Beats 1 DJ Zane Lowe that he's planning a musical world tour with former collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff in the coming months.

“Jeff and I have actually never have done a full tour,” he explained.

“I was always on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, I was always either making a movie, so we've never actually done a full tour. So I'm looking this [American] summer to be the first time that we go out on a full world tour."

Here he is talking to Lowe about the tour, as well as his recent appearance on Bomba Estéreo's "Fiesta (Remix)".

It’s unknown if the duo will make Australia one of their stops; if they did, that would certainly turn our winter into a summer, summer, summertime.

Don’t expect His Royal Freshness to simply capitalise on the nostalgia of his old hits, however. Smith has about 30 new songs that’ll be competing for a place on his new album, and many of those will be tested out on the road.

On his return to music after more than a decade’s absence, Smith said he’s “terrified.”

He’s terrified? Surely Jazz is the one who should be worried. What if Uncle Phil travels with them and keeps on throwing him out of venues?

Update: As we've been reminded, the actor who played Uncle Phil, James Avery, sadly passed away in 2013. Let the above video now instead act as a memorial rather than a potential tour teaser.
