All The Reasons Why the Student Edge Passport Makes Writing a Resume So Much Easier

You mean you haven't heard of the Student Edge Passport? Well, you're in for a treat.

Having to create a resume from scratch is daunting.

It's one of those tasks you're likely to procrastinate as long as possible, but when you need a casual or part-time job, there's only so long you can put it off for.

Cue the Student Edge Passport.

We've been there, done that, and we know how overwhelming it can be to try and stand out to an employer on just a piece of paper.

We did the hard work for you to help you showcase your value to your next potential boss—and not just your academic grades, but all your hobbies, values and work experience too!

The ultimate online resume.

Whether you want to flip burgers at Maccas, code at Apple, or get into your ideal uni, the Student Edge Passport will meet any and all of your goals.

It’s secure, online, easily accessible, looks good, and showcases everything your future employer needs—plus, it's way more sophisticated than an ol' Word Doc template.

It’s also a lot more comprehensive and, in turn, far more effective because you can simply send employers a link to your Passport. Or, you can download it and it automatically transforms into a PDF resume at the click of a button.

What to put in each section.

Think about all the details in your Passport as what you want to advertise about yourself. Everything from your values and skills, to your hobbies, interests and previous work experience.

A lot of the sections are pretty self-explanatory, but we've got a stack of tips to make you stand out even further and you can get 'em all here.

We're not the only ones that think it's amazing.

Don't just take it from us! We challenged Student Edge intern and high school student, Isaiah, to set up his Passport and let us know how it went.

He described it as "fast, easy and stress-free".

"I think that the new Passport feature is an amazing tool that helped me create my resume for free," he said.

"I really like that you can add your values because I feel like values are one of the most important things when it comes to a workplace.

"If your values don't fit with the workplace, you probably won't be happy there."
