Who Is the Queen on "The Masked Singer"? Fans Reckon They Know

The clues all point to one famous Aussie singer.

Season 2 of Channel 10's The Masked Singer has kicked off, and people are already doing everything in their power to figure out which celebrities are under the elaborate (and somewhat creepy) headdresses.

On last night's episode, the Echidna was the first to be unmasked. It was revealed that the man behind the mask was tennis star Mark Philippoussis, with Jackie 'O' Henderson being the only judge to guess correctly.

However, internet investigators have been quick to point out who they think some of the other masked singers are.

Fans have guessed that the Queen is none other than Kate Miller-Heidke.

If you missed the show, one of the Queen's clues included her desire to "rule the world", which could be linked to her performance at last year's Eurovision Song Contest.

The Queen also said, "I was expected to be known by my Italian works, but turned away and followed my own royal path by popular demand." As fans have highlighted, Kate is a classically trained opera singer but decided to pursue a pop career instead.

Another clue was, "Thirteen times I've been a bridesmaid, but never the bride." Kate and her husband Keir Nuttall wrote all the tunes for the Muriel's Wedding stage musical, and she's also been nominated for 13 ARIA Awards. Except, she has never won, which is an absolute travesty.

The Queen is also known for her highs and lows. This could be related to her Eurovision song "Zero Gravity", which was about her experience with post-natal depression.

Additionally, there were a clue relating to the Queen's link to Tasmania, and Kate's vocal coach, Allison Bell, is Tasmanian.

One fan said they are so confident that the Queen is Kate Miller-Heidke that they'll shave their hair off if they're wrong.

If you're not convinced, check out the Queen's performance of The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights". It definitely sounds a whole lot like Kate.

Some people are also guessing that Sophie Monk is the Dragonfly. Just listen to her rendition of Cyndi Lauper's "True Colours".

Although, who knows who is going to guess the winner this year now that Lindsay Lohan is no longer a judge on the show.

This year, the panel includes Henderson, Danni Minogue, David Hughes and multi award-winning comedian Urzila Carlson.
