Who’s Left To Hate In “Game Of Thrones”? We Have Some Names For Your List

Spoiler Alert: We cannot stress enough that you really shouldn’t read any further if you’re not all caught up with Game of Thrones. And if so, why are you on the internet?
When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die, and there was a whole lot of dying going on in GOT's Season 6 finale, “The Winds of Winter”.
Fans would have likely delighted in the long-coming deaths of despicable baddies like Walder Frey, the High Sparrow and Lancel Lannister, and were probably even tickled by the dispatching of dinguses like King Tommen, Mace Tyrell and Grand Maester Pycelle. And though Septa Unella was spared a meeting with the Gods, she’s now enduring a fate worse than death at the hands of Ser Gregor Clegane. A shame? Nah.
(No one, however, is happy about Margaery’s death-by-wildfire, except Cersei of course.)
As if the finale’s resetting of the chessboard wasn’t drastic enough, Season 6 also saw lingering villains Ramsay Bolton, Roose Bolton, The Waif, Ser Alliser Thorne, Olly, two of Meereen’s three main slavers and a bunch of Dothraki jerks eradicated.
All of this was essential to set-up GOT’s endgame: a showdown between King’s Landing’s new queen Cersei and the Velvet Revolver-esque supergroup of Daenerys, Jon, Tyrion, Sansa, Ellaria, Lady Olenna and the Greyjoys. Clearly, Cersei will be the big bad going forward… but don’t tell me you didn’t relish her epic revenge strategy this episode (followed by obligatory wine-swilling)? ‘Hate’ is too strong a word for that queen (sorry, kween).
All of this begs the question: who is left to hate on Game of Thrones? Let’s call this the Joffrey Baratheon Memorial Hate-Watch.

Littlefinger

Besides the fact that Lord Petyr Baelish keeps on trying to slide into Sansa’s DMs despite being several decades her senior (and having once sold her off to her eventual abuser, Ramsay), Littlefinger has long been one of the most nefarious figures in this universe, and remains manipulative and untrustworthy, even now that he’s supposedly on the side of the good guys. Keep the moon door open for him.
Melisandre

Sure, she feels bad about it now, but not so long ago Melisandre was frying up poor little Shireen – perhaps the most unforgivable act in the show’s history (and boy, is there plenty of competition for that title). Now exiled to the south, who knows where she’ll wind up. The night is dark and full of employment opportunities for super old witches.
The Night’s King

Zombie? Check. Killed a baby? Check. Is the only person excited that winter’s finally here? Check.
Ser Gregor Clegane aka The Mountain

Though the Frankensteined Mountain is one of the few names left on Arya’s kill list, don’t expect the younger Stark to bring down Ser Gregor with her handy Needle. It seems Season 6 is setting up a battle between the Mountain and his estranged brother, Sandor (referred to by fans as the 'Cleganebowl'). Now that Sandor's been partly-reformed, we actually have a dog (or a Hound, rather) in this fight.
Euron Greyjoy

You have to really suck to be the most detestable Greyjoy, but the usurping King Euron proved his suckiness in just one episode this season, reclaiming the Salt Throne after pushing his brother off a bridge and pledging to murder his niece and nephew. He’s gots to go.
The Sand Snakes

Yes, they're on Team Dany/Snow now, but Lady Olenna said it best in “The Winds of Winter”: “Do shut up… let the grown women speak.”
