What You Need To Know About The New Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has released a "first look at" video for their newest gaming console, the Nintendo Switch.
In a YouTube video uploaded by the company, the Nintendo Switch is described as a system which "enables gamers to play the same title wherever, whenever and with whomever they choose."
Essentially, it's a modular device that you can use as a portable console, or you can place it in a dock for living room gaming.
Here's the official video:
"The mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system to enable unprecedented new video game play styles," the video description reads.
According to The Verge, Nintendo's goal with the Switch is to fill all gaming niches. From single-player couch and mobile sessions, to party gaming and meeting other friends with consoles, and even e-sports.
The super adaptable console already has 48 software companies that have pledged their support. While the Wii U struggled to attract investors and developers, the Switch has already gathered support from companies like: EA, Capcom, Activision, Ubisoft, Unity and Havok.
There are at least six games in the works for the Switch currently, including Mario and Zelda.
It's coming out in March 2017, by the way. No price or precise date (yet) but at least it's not too far away?
