We Checked Out HOYTS Karrinyup to See What All the Fuss Is About

Spoiler alert: all the fuss is totally worth it.

This post is presented in partnership with HOYTS.

If you’re a born and bred Perthian or have lived in Western Australia recently, you’ve probably heard the hype about Karrinyup Shopping Centre going around.

It’s Perth’s most newly renovated shopping complex and it’s got some pretty impressive additions, updates and brands worth bragging about.

A super notable one: their new HOYTS.

So, to jump on the bandwagon of everyone else in WA, we headed up to Karrinyup to see exactly what everyone has been going on about (and to taste test some of their iconic popcorn of course).

Check out the fun we had.

HOYTS Karrinyup has so many amazing things to offer its new customers. With 10 auditoriums featuring recliner seats, two HOYTS LUX auditoriums, two Xtreamescreen auditoriums, one HOYTS D-BOX auditorium (*cough* the only one in WA *cough*), and Treat City, of course, it’s everything the moviegoer needs.

With Karrinyup being Western Australia’s second-biggest shopping centre after Westfield Carousel, you’ll defs want to try out every cinema available.

In the lobby, there are treats to sink a ship, from Ben and Jerry’s to fairy floss, and frozen drinks to choc-tops, it’s the perfect place to get that sugar fix.

On our trip to HOYTS Corey and Simmy got to try out the delicious popcorn, see how it was cooked, race each other up the cinema hall, try out the fancy recliner seats and see everything that the new cinemas have to offer.

If you can’t get enough of our experience and want to try it out for yourself, head on up to Karrinyup to catch your next flick.

Plus, by telling us in 25 words or less what film are you most excited to see at HOYTS? You could go into the running to win one of 10 HOYTS General Admission tickets. Enter our comp now!
