We Asked Students How Often They Donate to Charity; Wanna See How You Compare?

How often do you donate to the causes you're passionate about? (No judgement!)
This post is presented in partnership with ImpactPay.
It's not always easy to give away your money. Look, we get it. That doesn't mean you don't have a charitable spirit!
But maybe (definitely) you're a cash-strapped student who just can't give as much as you'd like. Maybe you've been stung by a scam and are afraid to try again. Or maybe you just don't know which cause you should be donating towards. (There are a lot out there that deserve our money.)
We invited some students to talk about how often they donate to causes they're passionate about, and why they sometimes find it difficult. See how you compare below!
Psst. If you're looking for an easier way to donate, learn all about our mates at ImpactPay, who help young people "be good" and "do good" with their money and contribute to charities through "micro-giving". (That means donating 10c with every tap.) It's free to sign-up, and you can even choose the charities you want to receive your donations. It’s time to HumanUp. Tap & Give. Find out more.

I don't really feel like donating, but sometimes you need to and then I occasionally do that for some beggars or orphans by giving them old clothes or their needy things.
I wish I could donate more but I always give back in other ways regularly. Give my clothes & food to those in need
Usually when I have small change I donate to the homeless
I donate occasionally as i am earning less, May Almighty bless me enough to pay a poor's education expense at least
I was taught charity starts at home. I come from a single parent family and we struggle from fortnight to fortnight. If we had money to donate we would. Mum has brought food and given it to homeless people when we are out. Once we went to good sammys and got a handful of jumpers and jackets and walked around the city giving them out with cupcakes. Kindness is free.
Bless your mom's kind soul - if 1 in 10 people does the same thing, our world will be a better place to live in
