Watch Thor Take A Gap Year With Aussie Roommate Darryl

Wondering what Thor was up to while Civil War raged in the MCU?

He was chilling with Aussie pal, Darryl, obvs.

In a new clip (first debuted at Comic Con, then popped onto the latest Captain America DVD and finally uploaded to the web for us lowly peons), Chris Hemsworth explains why he was unavailable for the stoush between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers.

Time-sucking activities included bugging Aussie roommate Darryl at his place of work, trying to figure out who that “purple man in the floating chair is” at the end of all those Marvel movies and sun-cooking a hunk of meat in his bedroom.

There are worse ways to spend a gap year, I suppose.

The footage was shot by director Taika Waititi (Hunt for the Wilderpeople) while he and Hemsworth were in Queensland making Thor: Ragnarok. Yes, we are now looking forward to a Thor movie.
