Watch Mad Bulldogs Fan Chris Hemsworth Pitch “AFL: The Movie”

Yeah, Thor’s fine at all, but Chris Hemsworth would much rather play ‘The Bont’.

In a new ad campaign for the AFL, Australia/Asgard’s favourite son pitches “AFL: The Movie” to some Hollywood execs, explaining the fairy-tale victory of the Western Bulldogs in the 2016 Grand Final.

Hemsworth even has a role picked out for himself: Star player Marcus Bontempelli.

Bontempelli, as you’d imagine, is psyched by the hypothetical prospect.

You can watch the video embedded over at AFL.com.au, because, apparently, they haven’t heard of YouTube yet.

Chris and his family, made up of seemingly six-dozen brothers, are long-time Bulldogs fans, dating back to the team's Footscray days.

Anyway, we know this is just some canny marketing, but yes, we would watch this movie.
