Upcoming Prime Video Releases to Add to Your Watchlist

Recapping Obsessed Fest, our newest obsessions and what you should keep an eye out for.

From The Summer I Turned Pretty to Maxton Hall, Prime Video has released some obsession-worthy shows in the past few years. This year, Prime has turned up the heat, releasing some incredible book-to-screen adaptations and Amazon Originals. What better way to celebrate than seeing our favourite cast members come together at Obsessed Fest?

The biggest moments from Obsessed Fest.

Obsessed Fest is an immersive, all-day fan festival hosted by Prime that celebrates its most popular releases and book-to-screen adaptations. This year, the festival brought fans face-to-face with the stars, creators and worlds behind the most buzzworthy YA titles right now including Off Campus and The Love Hypothesis. The casts and showrunners of Every Year After and Maxton Hall were in attendance along with upcoming titles including Hello Sunshine’s Legally Blonde prequel Elle as well as a Jenny Han reunion for The Devil’s Mouth, which stars Gavin Casalegno (The Summer I Turned Pretty) and Lana Condor (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, XO Kitty).

To tie it all together, Jennifer Lopez made a surprise appearance to perform “On the Floor,” which had a moment in season one of Off Campus with Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla).

We can’t deny that we enjoyed every minute of the festival, getting increasingly excited about all the upcoming projects and admiring the incredible people behind them.

Our current Prime Video obsessions.

We’re sure you’ve heard of Off Campus now. If not, it’s a college drama hockey-romance based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling book series. We won’t say more, but it’s worth the watch, and is a perfect comfort show to put on.

Additionally, Your Fault: London is a new release and sequel that took the world by storm. Based on the bestselling Culpables book trilogy by Mercedes Ron, both English-language and three Spanish-language movies occupied five of the top 10 slots in the most-watched Amazon Original films ranking from June 15 to June 21.

Another new release we recommend is Elle, a prequel to Legally Blonde, which follows Elle Woods as she navigates high school. It details the events, family dynamics and experiences that shape Elle into the iconic character we know and love.
