You Can Now Get Uni Credits While Working at *Checks Notes* Maccas

Badabababa we’re lovin it 💛

If you think your casual job just isn’t cutting it anymore, you might want to look into applying for a job at McDonalds Australia.

Maccas Crew Coaches and Managers are getting the chance to earn university credits while working at Maccas.

Wait...how can I get uni credits from working at Maccas?

Staff can earn up to eight verified and transferrable micro-credentials by completing on-the-job learning, training and workplace experience.

This is all part of the Archways to Opportunity program. And it’s about learning communication, problem-solving and leadership on the go.

These micro-credentials can be taken to certain unis and used to apply for recognition of prior learning that could give them credits towards a degree in courses like Business, Commerce, Management, HR, Technology and IT.

Each micro-credential counts for up to one subject credit in an undergraduate degree. Altogether, they can even be used to gain direct entry into a Master of Business Administration. Huge news!

Not to mention in some cases students could be saving $20,000 in fees.

Maccas is the first organisation in Australia to have their internal training and on-the-job training certified by universities.

So dust off that resume for the Christmas Casual season and start applying for a job at Maccas!
