“You’re Fired”: Trump Just Sacked Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci After Only Ten Days

After ten long days and as many scandals as you can fit in a week-and-a-half, President Donald Trump has fired 'The Mooch'.

The presence of Anthony Scaramucci, the now-former White House Communications Director, while short, was certainly felt. He will be best remembered for that time he said pretty grotesque things about his boss and for being fired before even formally starting his role.

Things began for Scaramucci on July 21, which resulted in the immediate resignation of former press secretary and purveyor of alternative facts, Sean Spicer. Six days later, the New Yorker published an article about a phone call that had occurred between Scaramucci and one of their reporters.

Scaramucci said some pretty horrific stuff to the reporter about his coworkers, including then Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon. Most people probably would've sighed and said quietly to themselves, "another day, another scandal."

But, surprisingly (given all the other scandals like, you know, Russian election interference), President Trump decided that this scandal was a tad too risqué for him and gave Scaramucci the boot.

Trump tweeted this pearler only hours after the news broke. Classy.

Scaramucci's reign lasted a full ten days. This Tweet does an excellent job of summing up his pretty spectacular fall from 'grace' (if you can call it that).

And if nothing else, at least Scaramucci left us with some dankish memes.

If #Trump really stays for 4 years, every single American will have had a job in this #WhiteHouseChaos for a couple of days...#Scaramucci pic.twitter.com/VUl9bDgNOU

There's no word on who his replacement will be yet, but once again, a little job advert for White House Communications Director will appear in the local paper.

We'll just leave this short GIF of Scaramucci's brief reign here.
