Check Out The Trailer For Benjamin Law's Comedy Series "The Family Law"

Thanks to Twentysomething, Please Like Me, Utopia and new Shaun Micallef series The ExPM, it’s something of a boom time for Aussie comedy on TV.

(The last time we had it this good, Acropolis Now, the Bob Morrison Show and All Together Now were on TV. Which is to say, we’ve probably never had it this good.)

It’s only going to get better if the newly-debuted trailer for Benjamin Law’s upcoming sitcom, The Family Law, is any indication.

Based on the memoir of the popular columnist, self-confessed child gymnast and friend of Student Edge, it follows Law’s coming-of-age in Queensland (as well as the antics of his unconventional fam).

Newcomer Trystan Go, 14, plays the younger Law.

Though the show doesn’t air until 2016 (on SBS), the first two episodes were screened at Parliament House last night.

Tonight we're having a Parliamentary screening of #TheFamilyLawSBS in Canberra. Deep down, you all knew the Asian takeover would start here.
