Don’t Read Too Much Into The Fact A Tornado Warning Has Been Set For Sydney On HSC Results Day

The Bureau of Meteorology is telling Sydneysiders to batten down the hatches, which in no way should be attributed to the raining down of HSC results today.
According to the BOM, “Very dangerous thunderstorms are forecast to affect Sydney City, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Manly.” “Tornadoes, very destructive winds, large hailstones and very heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding are likely." Meanwhile, 70,000 high schoolers from New South Wales will learn their HSC results via text, email or online today. ATAR results will follow tomorrow morning. “This is all just a coincidence,” many Sydney kids could be heard muttering to themselves as they watched the accumulating storm clouds. The BOM is yet to release any Sharknado warning, so there’s that. Good luck out there.
