Tones and I, Benee and, Um, Agro Rule the ARIA Awards Red Carpet

All the award-worthy lewks are here.

The 2019 ARIA Awards are currently going down at Sydney's Star Casino, with record-breaking chart-topper Tones and I heading into the ceremony with a pack-leading eight nominations.

However, what's more important than receiving awards for one's art is to be evaluated for one's outlandish red carpet outfit.

And, yeah, on that front, Tones and I (AKA Toni Watson) wins again, thanks to a lime-green duster emblazoned with the name of her latest EP, "The Kids Are Coming".

However, no one appeared to be having more fun on the red carpet than Stella Bennett, better known as Benee, who literally leapt for the cameras. Her energy is so infectious, we’ll even spare her the "she doesn’t even go here" meme (though, it’s worth noting, she is technically from New Zealand).

There were plenty of other international stars who showed their faces prior to the ceremony, including Khalid, Carly Rae Jepsen, Halsey and Dua Lipa.

And yet, it was Agro, the retired puppet/Australian TV icon of the '90s who enraptured most on the runway (especially Triple J's exiting Mornings host Linda Marigliano and Paralympian Dylan Alcott).

Of course, the ARIA Awards celebrate the best in Australian music, so keep scrolling to see some of the local talents who turned up too.
