Toilet Ads For Ghost-Written Essays Get Uni Students In Hot Water

Why plagiarise when you can just pay someone to write your assignments for you?
Sydney Morning Herald reports two university students have been expelled and 70 more face severe penalties after using an online essay writing company.
The Chinese language website MyMaster.com.au targeted mainly international students by advertising on university toilet doors.
The website has since been shut down, but not before more than 1,000 students became the subject of an investigation and were found to have spent up to $1,000 on ghost-written essays and online tests.
The owner of MyMaster.com.au and Yingcredible Coaching, Yingying Dou, was reported to have a penchant for designer handbags, which she then sold online for more than $3,000.
An enterprising businesswoman and anxious, possibly dishonest students make for a scandal that is rocking the $15 billion education industry.
