This Kid Continued to Play "Fortnite" Through a Literal Tornado

When tornadoes get in the way of winning a game of Fortnite.
A teen in North Carolina has told a local news team that, despite there being a raging tornado next door, he continued to play a game of Fortnite.
In case you missed that, the neighbour's roof coming off wasn't enough to stop him from playing. "I [sat] back down because I only have a couple [of] people left in my game, and I was going to try to finish the game," he told WXII 12 News.
It was only when he realised that the dangerously-close tornado was pulling down power lines too that he decided to leave his game and get his family in the bathtub.
He later adds that, while in the bathtub, he was "thinking about the game, but I was hoping everybody was OK around me." True hero.
We've reached peak Fortnite status, kids ain't even got time for tornadoes now... https://t.co/xrzKjfDeb0

I want to show some love to that kid who was playing Fortnite when the Tornado hit his house in Greensboro. Got his family to safety and still got a Top 12. A real hero.

Thankfully, neither he nor his family were harmed. Not so sure about that neighbour's roof though.
