This Interactive Map Helps You Find a COVID Vaccination Clinic Near You

Check it out.

Let's be real: Australia's COVID vaccination rollout hasn't exactly been the most straightforward process.

Between mixed messaging about the jabs and, uh, strange advertisements, it's no wonder some people are feeling a tad confused.

That's why it's pretty damn cool that someone has gone and made an interactive map that shows all of Australia's COVID vaccination clinics to make our lives a little easier.

As reported by Business Insider, Sydney-based developer Ken Tsang created Covid19nearme back in 2020 to help people stay across emerging coronavirus cases in their area.

Now, he's taken it a step further with this interactive map that aggregates information from multiple New South Wales government websites to help people book vaccination appointments.

When you open the map, you're able to use the drop down menu in the top left corner to change your location. From there, you can enter your suburb or postcode to find out which vaccination clinics you can head to.

The map also displays each clinic's vaccine availability, so you don't drive there just to find out no jabs are left.

If you can't make an online booking at the clinic you want, the map will show you its phone number so you can contact them.

Tsang told Business Insider that his motivation for building the website was to help people who were struggling to understand massive lists of exposure sites.

"It was around a week's work to begin with," he told the publication.

"I was like, if I'm struggling, a lot of other people are struggling as well."

It looks like the interactive map will be getting even more updates in the near future. The official Twitter account posted that they'll be adding pop-up/walk-in clinics, and more availability information from more booking systems in the near future.

Today, NSW recorded 283 new COVID cases, with the rural local government area of Tamworth also heading into lockdown.
