Internet Has First Ever Agreement: That This Ad Is The 'Most Racist' Thing On The Web

Social media is rarely in agreement over anything, least of all, matters of racism and political correctness.

And yet, the internet is pretty much on the same page when it comes to a newly-released Chinese commercial for laundry detergent, with many declaring it the most racist thing of 2016.

Seriously, just type 'most racist' into Twitter or Facebook search and you'll see the same ad come up over and over again. And it's not like “most racist” isn't a hotly contested race online!

The clip involves a young Chinese woman putting a black suitor in the washing machine so that he can be “cleaned” into a Chinese man.

Just… just watch. Fair warning: you will be offended.

It’s no fake. The ad for Qiaobi-brand detergent has been making the rounds in China, with confirmation that it’s been appearing on the tele and before some movies this month.

Would you believe it’s actually a rip-off of another laundry detergent ad, from last decade? The Italian inspiration goes the other way with the washing process, but nonetheless has the cringe-worthy tagline, “coloured is better.”

So… yeah. We don’t really know what to say after videos like the above. Sorry?
