This ABC Anchor Forgetting She's on Live TV is All of Us When We're Caught Daydreaming

An ABC newsreader was caught off guard when a report crossed back to her while she was still daydreaming.

ABC News 24’s Natasha Exelby was shocked when she was suddenly live on TV, but still intensely focussed on playing with her pen.

Her reaction has provided the internet with an excellent GIF, but like a true professional, she recovered quickly.

Media Watch later shared the blooper on Facebook where it has since gone viral.

@MarcFennell @NatashaExelby Oh we've all been there, but so few of us can do it with the style and panache of fabulous Tash 🌟

This isn’t the first time the presenter has been involved with a gaffe on live television.

She was criticised for not being able to contain her laughter during a serious news report on violent riots in Brazil which she later apologised for.

Update: Well, Exelby has apparently been banned from playing any future on-air role by ABC News 24, as a result of her blooper.
