There’s a Barbie x Grill’d Collab So Obv We Had To Try It

The pink crossover we didn’t know we needed.

ICYMI, Barbie is out in cinemas next week, and after attending the Aussie Barbie movie press conference, we’re counting down the days.

I don’t know about you, but my feed has been flooded with all kinds of marketing, and the brand collabs we’ve seen revealed for the film have been extraordinary.

From adding Barbie’s Corvette and Ken’s Hummer to Xbox’s Forza Horizon 5, and special collections coming to Typo, The Oodie and Dotti (just to name a few!), there was a collab announced this morning we defs weren’t expecting.

Grill’d has now released a limited-edition Barbie Collection, with a ‘Barbie Dreamburger Bundle’ that includes a ‘Barbie Dreamburger’, snack chips, drink, and… pink mayo.

Obv we had to order one ASAP and let you know how it is.

Spoiler alert – its delish, and I’m still in a food coma.

So, what exactly is in the Barbie Dreamburger?

Here’s the official description from Grill’d:

100% natural juicy beef, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled pineapple, tasty cheese and onions slathered in fresh avo, tomato sauce and pink mayo.

Is your mouth watering yet?

It’s giving summer, Malibu Beach vibes.

A snack-size serving of chips in this bundle was a good call because this burg was absolutely packed.

But how’s the pink mayo?

Our brains were making us think that because of its very pink colour it was gonna be a little sweet, but the mayo was just… well, regular mayo.

But pink.

The drink it comes with is a raspberry-flavoured drink called Sodaly.

We've never tried it before today - it’s not too sweet, but still refreshing with a slight hint of raspberry.

And of course, the packaging and colour of the drink fits that Barbie-core aesthetic.

If you’re in Sydney and love seafood, Grill’d Galeries is exclusively selling a Barbie Beach Roll too.

Are you going to be picking up any of these Barbie-themed foods, or purchasing any other collabs? Let us know!
