Listen: The Veronicas Feel the Love in New Tune, "The Only High"

The Veronicas, having cleaned themselves up from their 2016 ARIAs blood bath, are back with a brand new single: "The Only High".

Though it was co-written by Shelly Peiken (who previously collaborated with Jess and Lisa Origliasso for 2007's "Hook Me Up", which still bangs), "The Only High" sees The 'onicas in a more emotional, anthemic sort of mood. We're fine with that.

If you were hoping for another "In My Blood", however, this ain't it. You'll have to just listen to it yourself, below, to make up your mind about the Origliassos' new sound.

"The Only High" was apparently the last song written for their upcoming fourth album, due out later this year. So, will the record be full of these personal ballads? Or, will The Veronicas offer some more blood on the dancefloor with the next singles?

We do not have the answers to those questions. All we can say is they probably watched Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet before posing for the single's photo shoot.

Case in point:

Romeo and Juliet

And here's "Hook Me Up" again, just because.
