The Truth is Out There: A UFO Group Has Received More Than $5500 in Federal Funding

A Federal minister is probing into why a NSW UFO group has received a considerable amount of government funding over the last five years.
The Tuggerah Lakes UFO Group has received at least $5,639 in federal funding after approved applications by the Department of Social Services, making this a true mystery fit for an episode on The X-Files.
Christian Porter, minister for Social Services, has now launched an investigation into the matter to figure out why they received so much funding.

A spokeswoman for the minister has told The Daily Telegraph that some of the funding went towards the transportation of some of the volunteers with disabilities.
“However, the minister is somewhat surprised at the nature of this particular volunteer group being funded through this grant program and he has instructed his department to hold the transmission of funds pending a re-examination of the application,” she said.
The Daily Telegraph received comment from the UFO group, who explained that the funding was indeed to transport some of their elderly members to the meetings.
“We need projectors and microphones so everyone can see and hear what’s going on," they said. “We also have outings out at night checking for unusual activity.”
I can't wait to see what they've found out there with all that funding.
