The Infamous ‘Eurovision Mooner’ Might Face Up to Five Years in Prison

Sunday's Eurovision final was hijacked by a buttocks draped in an Australian flag.
During the performance of 2016 Eurovision winner, Jamala, a man jumped on stage with an Australian flag and lowered his pants.
Everyone gasped in horror and looked towards Camp Australia with disgust and disappointment. But then, a plot twist worthy of M. Night Shyamalan turned everyone’s head: The ‘Australian’ mooner was actually Ukrainian and is a known perpetual pest.
The self-described ‘journalist’ (which is probably a stretch of the definition), Vitalii Sediuk, has reportedly been detained by Ukranian authorities for 72 hours and will likely be charged with hooliganism, which carries a maximum of five years behind bars.
Interior Minister Arsen Avakov shared a post on Facebook explaining that he is a disgrace to the country.
"Sediuk is a Ukrainian citizen. During the performance of our Jamala, according to his own words, he decided to realise his hobby as he 'unofficially works as a provocative journalist'," Avakov said.
Sediuk is known for his (READ: multiple) assaults against celebrities such as Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

In other Eurovision news, Australia's entrant, Isaiah Firebrace, placed ninth in the contest making it Australia's third time finishing in the top ten.
Fellow Australian and The Voice Australia winner, Anja Nissen who was representing Denmark, finished in twentieth place, with Portugal's Salvador Sobral taking out the top spot.
