The 11 Best Young Players to Buy for Cheap in “FIFA 21”

All for under $50 million.

If you’re like me, you love a challenge when starting Career Mode on FIFA 21.

Starting with a big club with hundreds of millions of dollars makes it too easy to buy your way to the top of any league.

There’s a bigger sense of achievement when you take a club from England’s lowest league into the Premier League.

Money is tighter down at the bottom though, so you need to buy on a budget. Here are 11 of the best young players to buy in FIFA 21 so by the time you reach the top you’ve got a team of superstars who cost you nothing.

GK – Maarten Vandevoordt

Vandevoordt is a neat first buy when building your squad. The Belgian goalkeeper who plays for Genk became the youngest keeper to play in the Champions League in 2019 at 17-years-old.

He’ll cost $3.7m but the cost is worth it ‘cos he’ll grow from 69 overall to a potential 85.

RB – Jeremie Frimpong

The 71 overall rated right-back will cost $5.2m but will quickly increase to 84 with regular game time. Great return on investments.

CB – William Saliba

The Arsenal centre-back is rated at 74 overall but has a potential of 85. For only $10m this Frenchman is a steal.

CB – Bright Arrey-Mbi

Aside from having a sick first name, Arrey-Mbi is also a killer footballer. At 18-years-old he has already started for Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The defender costs $1.4m at an overall of 62, but will grow to 85. Definitely a bright future.

LB – Luca Netz

German left-back Luca Netz will round out the defense of your team. He’s fast and a good tackler for someone with a 67 rating. With a potential growth of 84, he's a handy buy at only $2.9m.

CM – Xavi Simons

Real talk: Simons looks like a 12-year-old kid in his player photo. Aside from that, the talented dutchman is a steal for $2.2m with a potential growth of 84 from a humble 65 overall.

CM – Jude Bellingham

This man is going places, so snap him up before another club does. His starting rating is 69 and his club Dortmund value him at around $4.2m. Worth the money with a ceiling of 88 potential growth.

RW – Joelson Fernandes

Also known as Mendes Mango (what a name) the Portuguese forward is perfect for your right wing at $4.2m. Starting at 69, he’ll grow to reach 86. Best part is, he already has wicked pace when you buy him.

LW – Jeremy Doku

Doku is a must-buy for your left wing. The Anderlecht winger like Mango has explosive pace for someone rated at 71. His potential growth is 88. Worth spending that little bit extra on at $6.2m.

CAM – Florian Wirtz

What’s a winning team without a lethal German central attacking midfielder? The 17-year-old  is a great wonderkid prospect having already played 36 games in the Bundesliga and scoring 9 goals in all competitions.

Costing only $4.1m, in a few seasons Wirtz will go from 68 overall to a potential 88.

ST – Troy Parrott

The Tottenham front man is the perfect talisman to round out your transfer window spending spree. Costing only $1.4m, Parrott will grow from 65 to 85 overall in a couple of seasons. Get him before it’s too late.

All up, this starting 11 will set you back around $42m. Not bad for a team that within a couple of seasons will be easily worth over $300m.
