Teenager Sets Crazy New 'Rubik's Cube' Record

A high school student has set a new world record with a Rubik’s Cube, solving the iconic puzzle in a mind-bending 5.25 seconds.
That tops this writer’s current best time of 131,475 hours and counting. (I started one fifteen years ago, but I must be getting close by now, right?)
The World Cube Association, which is apparently a thing, confirmed to Mashable that Pennsylvania high school student Collin Burns indeed broke the previous record of 5.55 seconds at an official competition in his home town.
Considering all the terrible news swirling round the globe today, take a second and enjoy the delightful video above in which Burns pulls off the gargantuan feat, much to the delight of his pals.
Mind the volume. There’s some screaming.
