If you didn’t already know, Taylor Swift announced yesterday that she is releasing her twelfth album, The Life of a Showgirl.

Her official website, now glittery and orange, had a countdown leading up to the announcement with the words “expires August 12 at 12:12am”.

When Taylor has something to say, she sure does a good job of creating a mic drop moment.

Following the announcement on her website, a snippet of her announcing the album on the New Heights podcast was also posted online.

The New Heights podcast is hosted by Jason and Travis Kelce, the last being Taylor’s lover.

The actual podcast episode featuring Taylor is dropping sometime on Wednesday so keep your eyes pealed.

Obviously, fans are screaming in absolute delight.

Honestly we’re just impressed she’s managed to finish the Eras tour last year, re-record a bunch of her albums and release a new album all in the span of less than one calendar.
