Sweet Relief: Acne Is Poppin' At Milan Fashion Week

Those pimples, they’re so hot right now.
Malaysian designer Moto Guo has burst the fashion world’s zit bubble by having acne-ridden models show-off his latest collection.

He debuted ‘Picnic in the Society’ at Milan Men’s Fashion Week yesterday, with each model sporting an acne cluster. (It’s not known if the blemishes were natural, or the work of make-up.)
The display was highly distracting, which is pretty impressive, considering what the models were actually wearing.
On the one hand, it’s somewhat refreshing to see more natural-looking faces on the runway. On the other, if the rashes are indeed fake, there’s perhaps something questionable about fetishising (and making a joke out of) such facial afflictions.
Or, maybe the only appropriate reaction to the past-parody fashion world is a raised eyebrow and a shrug. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
